Auto publishing is the right way?

This weekend i recieve a lot of NO when i present my fairytale project to some Spanish editorials.
I'm very sad about that, but i really don't want to leave this project and forget it. Fairytale project was so hard to make, there are so much people involved on it...
I think that a beautiful book with Grimm's fairytales texts, and the fairytale project images, sound really interesting, but i begin to thinking that i am the only person that bealive that.
Maybe the autopublish with Blurb is the way...maybe not. Maybe i should try with smaller editorials, or maybe with english or other european editorial, but i'm feeling really tired to heard No, No and No. And quite sad
Allways traveling on nobody land, not illustration, not photography, not fashion... seems that nobody interest what i do.
